Internships
Periodically, opportunities arise for internships within the
Academy of Media Arts to provide design services for local businesses.
Web Design students who have completed all 5 of the core courses
with a "B" or better are eligible for an internship.
The completion of certain electives may also expand opportunitities
for the types of work available to students.
Students are paid $11 per hour and are supervised by a faculty
member. In addition to earning some money, this is an excellent
opportunity for students to build their portfolio and potentially
receive letters of recommendation from the business partner and/or
faculty member.
