Students can earn a Certificate
or an Associate of Science Degree in
Web Design at Cerro Coso Community College. This
web design training can be completed online, although many
classes are also taught on campus.
This program has been carefully crafted to provide strong
design principles, best practices in usability and accessibility,
and skills in the leading-edge software tools.

Very Affordable
Taking courses at Cerro Coso Community College is affordable.
Enrollment fees are only $20 per semester unit for California
residents and $195 per unit for non-California residents.
Financial aid may also be available for qualifying students.

Online
Both the Certificate and the Associate Degree can be completed
entirely online. All the Core
Classes are offered online at least once per year, and
some are scheduled every semester. Many of the Electives
are offered online, as well. Out of the 23 classes students
can choose from to fulfill their 3 electives, online students
have a variety from which they can choose.
Earn College Credits
Through the Academy of Media Arts Web Design Program you
can earn college credits that will help you earn a degree
-- credits that will also transfer to other colleges and
universities as electives. Private training companies can't
guarantee that your time spent or your CEU credits will
mean anything to an employer or other colleges.
Prepare to Transfer
Many graphic design and visual arts programs at 4-year
universities are highly competitive and only allow entrance
through portfolio review. The work you will complete in
the Academy of Media Arts Web Design Program can help you
build a diverse portfolio of digital imaging, computer illustration,
web design, and fine art. You will have the opportunity
to learn basic design principles that will help to make
each item in your portfolio a quality sample of work and,
thus, more competitive for entrance into the university
of your choice.
