High School Courses
Burroughs High School, Lone
Pine High School, and Bakerfield
High School students can get Cerro Coso credit for
taking specified courses that have been approved for articulation.
This articulated credit is applied after students
- complete one or more of the identified courses below
at your high school,
- complete 12 units of regular Cerro Coso classes,
- send an official high school transcript to Cerro Coso
- send me an e-mail
letting me know you are ready to have credit applied.
The table below identifies the high school course that
corresponds to the Cerro Coso course. |

College Courses
Credit may be granted for courses taken at other colleges
if the content correlates closely with our courses. Credit
is granted much more easily for classes listed in the Additional
Requirements list. We prefer that students take the
5 web design core classes at Cerro Coso, unless a class
taken at another college is identical to the content of
the core class.
To give you credit for courses taken at other colleges,
we need the following from you:
- The name of the course within the Cerro Coso Web Design
program for which you wish to obtain credit.
- The course name, number, name of college, and the course
syllabus or curriculum outline.
- Samples of work produced in the course.
- Submit this to Suzanne Ama via
e-mail.
