Enrollment

MA C102, Digital Imaging is now open for enrollment.

If you do not need the course credit for salary placement, fees and textbooks will be paid for by Sierra Sands Unified School District. In this case, please call me as soon as possible at 384-6274 or e-mail me at sama@cerrocoso.edu to let me know you want to enroll. We will place your name on a list, add everyone manually, and bill Sierra Sands Unified School District directly. You will need to purchase your textbooks yourself. Then take the receipt to the Sierra Sands Unified School District office for reimbursement.

If you desire to obtain units toward placement on the salary schedule, you may enroll through Cerro Coso's online system by following the instructions below:

If you have never taken Cerro Coso classes:

1. Go to the Admissions page of the Cerro Coso website.
2. Click the link for "Step-By-Step registration process for New students". Fill out the Online Application Form, following all the prompts. It is a multi-page form. The last page requires that you print it out, sign it and mail or deliver the page to Admissions and Records.
3. In a day or so, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that the online form was processed.
4. Return to the Admissions page and click the "Login Now" button to register for the class. This takes you into the Kern Community College registration database.
5. Enter your Social Security Number for User ID and your birthday for your password. (mmddyy) Click Login.
6. Select the Student Services and Financial Aid link.
7. Then select the Registration link.
8. Then select the Add/Drop Classes link.
9. Enter 71847 in the first CRN field.
10. Following the rest of the prompts will complete the registration process. You will be billed for the $54 for the registration fee. It is important the the fee be paid within 10 days of registration or you will be automatically dropped by Cerro Coso's computer.

If you are a returning Cerro Coso student:

1. Go to the Admissions page of the Cerro Coso website.
2. Fill out the Enrollment Update Form, which is a multi-page form.
3. In a day or so, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that the Enrollment Update From was processed.
4. Return to the Admissions page and click the "Login Now" button to register for the class. This takes you into the Kern Community College registration database.
5. Enter your Social Security Number for User ID and your Password. Your Password will by your birthday (mmddyy) unless you've changed it to something else. Click Login.
6. Select the Student Services and Financial Aid link.
7. Then select the Registration link.
8. Then select the Add/Drop Classes link.
9. Enter 71847 in the first CRN field.
